Owner & Founder
Danzel White

Danzel White is the Owner and Founder of Uplift Behavioral Health Services, bringing more than 15 years of experience serving at-risk youth and families throughout Virginia. Danzel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice, providing a strong foundation in human behavior, social systems, and the justice system that has guided his career working with youth and families.
His career began in residential foster care, where he provided life skills education and support to youth in out-of-home placement. He later advanced to the role of Program Manager of the youth Independent Living Program, helping adolescents develop the practical skills to successfully transition into adulthood. Danzel expanded his work into behavioral health by providing Therapeutic Day Treatment services to at-risk youth within Prince William County Public Schools. In this role, he supported students with a variety of behavioral and mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), intermittent explosive disorder (IED), and more. He assisted students with developing emotional regulation, social skills, coping skills, and academic success.
He also served within the Juvenile Justice System for 6 years through the Department of Youth Services as a Pretrial Officer, where he counseled and mentored court-involved youth individually, as well as facilitated pro-social youth groups. In this role, Danzel assisted families with navigating the juvenile court system, while promoting accountability and working to reduce delinquent behavior and recidivism through pro-active intervention and guidance.
Drawing from his extensive experience, Danzel continues providing mentoring and behavioral support in collaboration with the Prince William County community through Uplift Behavioral Health Services.

Our Story
Uplift Behavioral Health Services was founded on a simple belief: meaningful change happens through consistent positive relationships, genuine support, and meeting young people where they are. Too often, families face challenges that cannot be solved within the walls of an office alone. Real growth happens in everyday life—in the home, at school, and throughout the community. Our mission is to provide compassionate, community-based mentoring that empowers youth to build confidence, strengthen life skills, make healthier decisions, and discover their potential. We work alongside families to create positive, lasting change by focusing on practical support, accountability, and encouragement tailored to each individual's unique needs. With more than a decade of experience serving youth and families in behavioral health, and the juvenile justice, foster care, and education; our foundation is built on understanding the complex challenges many young people face. Those experiences have shaped our commitment to providing services that are professional, relationship-centered, and focused on real-world success.
At Uplift Behavioral Health Services, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to encourage growth, learn skills, and inspire lasting change. Because when one life is uplifted, families grow stronger, communities become healthier, and future goals become possible to achieve.
